Government-Recognized Certificate with Bali Provincial Education Stamp

If you would like to receive a government-recognized certificate with the Bali Provincial Education Department stamp and signature after passing the ASA exam, you must enter Indonesia with a Single Entry Visa (C9 / purpose of stay: Training and Short Course).
Tourist visas cannot be used for this certificate. The Single Entry Visa must be applied for and obtained before your departure.

Stamp Details on the Certificate

  • Single Entry Visa (C9): Bali Provincial Education Department stamp and signature on the left, and ASA stamp and signature on the right.
  • Tourist Visa (VOA, etc.): Only the ASA stamp and signature on the right (no Bali Provincial Education Department stamp).

A Tourist Visa (Visa on Arrival / VOA) can be obtained online in advance or upon arrival at Denpasar (Ngurah Rai) Airport for about IDR 500,000 (approximately USD 35–40).
The standard stay is 30 days, and it can be extended once in Bali for an additional 30 days.

About the C9 Training Visa

Required documents for the C9 Single Entry Visa (for Training / Short Course):

  • Visa application fee: US $400 per person
  • Color copy of passport (photo page + cover)
    * Passport valid for at least 12 months with at least 3 blank visa pages
  • Return flight ticket or English travel itinerary (e-ticket)
  • ID photo (any standard size, smartphone photo is acceptable)
  • Bank balance certificate in English (equivalent to at least US $2,000)
  • Consent form (template will be provided separately)

All C9 visa procedures are handled by the JTB Bali Office (PT JTB INDONESIA).
You only need to prepare and submit the required documents to JTB; they will take care of the application process on your behalf.

Please note that the above conditions are based on Japanese passport holders. Many nationalities can apply with similar documents, but visa requirements and application procedures may differ depending on your nationality.
