Course Description
Deep tissue massage is a traditional oil massage technique from Bali, Indonesia, using firm pressure to work on the deeper layers of muscle. In this course, you learn authentic Balinese deep tissue massage that helps improve blood circulation, release muscle tension, and promote relaxation.
This style is especially popular with clients who like stronger, shiatsu-style pressure. Using the elbows, forearms, and palms, slow and steady pressure is applied to the deeper muscles. It can also be used as a type of sports massage and is known for its strong therapeutic effect on chronic stiffness and fatigue.

Students who complete Abian’s required basic lesson time (25 hours) plus the mandatory 5-hour Foot Massage module (total 30 hours) are eligible to take the Indonesian government-recognized qualification exam (Bali Provincial Education Department).
Those who pass the exam will receive an official DEEPTISSUE ABIAN certificate.
