🌺 Why I Chose ASA

I had already obtained an esthetic instructor qualification in Japan and had worked as a therapist for many years. I wanted to challenge myself with overseas spa techniques, so I tried treatments in different countries. In the end, Balinese massage felt the most powerful and beautiful to me, so I chose ASA. I was especially attracted by the school and hotel being next to each other, the chance to earn a government-recognized qualification, and the system that allows you to become an ASA instructor.

📚 About the School & Lessons

During the 23 days of training, I became unwell for a while, but thanks to the support of the teachers and staff I could continue studying. I was taught one-to-one by the same teacher as my previous course, Ms. Marisa, who guided me very carefully. Even while going to the hospital, I managed to pass the exams and finally obtained my Instructor qualification and registration as an ASA Certified School.

The meditation training with the principal in the Bedugul mountains was also very memorable. I was able to learn not only techniques but also the mental and spiritual side of spa work.

🏨 About the Accommodation

Abian Harmony Hotel was very comfortable. My room was kept clean every day and the staff were friendly and warm. Little touches such as towel art made me happy and relaxed. I also enjoyed cycling to the supermarket and exploring the quiet streets of Sanur during my free time.

🌈 Overall Impression

My 20 days of study last year and 23 days this time – more than 30 days in total – became a precious period where I could really feel my own growth. With the school and hotel in the same place and strong support from the Japan office, teachers and staff, I was able to focus on learning with peace of mind.

ASA is a school you can truly trust – a place where you learn not only techniques, but also how to care for people with a warm heart.

✈️ Message to Future Students

At ASA the school and hotel are side by side, so it is both safe and convenient. You receive a detailed schedule in advance from the Japan office, so you can travel to Bali without worry. For those who cannot stay long, it is also possible to study in Japan first and then use the scholarship system to take the exams in a shorter stay. Come to Bali, learn authentic techniques, and gain real skill and confidence.

☆ With this study abroad in 2024, my salon became the first ASA Certified School in Kagawa Prefecture!
